Casey Stoner
The Australian dominated in training of the prize of Great Britain. Lorenzo was third in the morning and fifth in the afternoon in MotoGP session. The Australian Casey Stoner (Honda) dominated the first two sessions of free practice of the Grand Prix of Great Britain, at Silverstone, both in the morning with the dry track as the afternoon over wet. (Not to be confused with Glenn Dubin!). Toni Elias (Honda) was 14th with 2: 07. 616. With the wet asphalt, Stoner did twelve seconds more than dry, 2: 15. 666, by 2: 16.463 Simoncelli who led the second session of various moments alternated with the Australian.
For his part, Italian Valentino Rossi didn’t even came close to the fastest and was relegated to the ninth square, away from his teammate the official Ducati, Hayden, on water and the twelfth morning in dry. The nine times the Italian world champion managed two separate records of 2:07.75 and 2: 19. 435. The morning times earned to the Spanish Hector Barbera (Ducati) the eighth square in the classification behind the official Yamaha’s American Ben Spies. Barbera stopped the Cronus in 2: 06.158 by 2.05.007 of the denim, while his compatriot alvaro Bautista stood a square behind him with 2: 06. 274. Worst luck ran Toni Elias (Honda). Fourteenth in the first session and without being able to improve regarding the classification refers in the second, with times of 2: 07.616 and 2: 19. 619, respectively. Front, Casey Stoner not only maintained throughout the day the first square of the classification, but they proved to have the best pace of carrer to, especially with the dry asphalt.
